Job responsibilities:

1. Detection service execution: Perform various types of non-destructive testing operations, such as ultrasonic testing (UT), magnetic particle testing (MT), penetration testing (PT), eddy current testing (ET), and radiographic testing (RT), to ensure that the testing process complies with international (such as ASME, API, ISO, etc.) and local regulatory standards. In the oil and gas, chemical, and other industries, carry out regular or temporary non-destructive testing on production equipment, pressure vessels, pipelines, etc.

2. Quality management and control: Supervise and ensure the quality of non-destructive testing work, ensure that all testing activities follow the established operating procedures and quality system. Record, sort out and prepare reports for the test results, review the test reports, and propose corrective measures for the identified problems.

3. Compliance and regulation: Comply with local laws and regulations in Iraq and the company's internal QHSE policies. Identify and report in a timely manner the materials or engineering components that do not meet the testing requirements, to ensure the safety and effectiveness of all testing activities.

4. Customer communication and coordination: Keep effective communication with customers, understand customer needs, arrange and perform testing tasks, and solve problems during the testing process.

5. Complete tasks assigned by superiors: Complete other project work and technical support services related to non-destructive testing assigned by the company and superior leaders.

Job requirements: 

1. Educational background: Bachelor degree or above, major in materials science, mechanical engineering, physics, non-destructive testing technology, and other related fields.

2. Work experience: Have 3 years of on-site operation experience in non-destructive testing, be familiar with the construction of CPF stations, power plants, oil pipelines, etc., and have no less than 5 years of work experience in RT ray shooting and film evaluation. Have experience in performing non-destructive testing work in multinational companies or complex projects.

3. Qualification certificates: Comply with internationally or locally recognized non-destructive testing qualification certifications, such as PCN, ASNT, EN ISO 9712, or SNT-TC-1A certification, and obtain corresponding level certificates in various non-destructive testing methods (such as radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, penetration testing, eddy current testing, etc.).

4. Skill requirements: Proficient in various non-destructive testing methods and technical principles, as well as related international and domestic testing standards and specifications. Be able to independently prepare testing procedures, reports, and summaries, and have good document management skills. Good communication skills, able to effectively communicate testing requirements and results with internal teams and external customers. The working language is English, and the listening, speaking, and writing meet the work requirements. Those who also master Arabic are preferred;

5. Other qualities: Be able to adapt to work in different environments, including but not limited to the local working conditions and cultural environment in Iraq. Have a high sense of safety, be physically and mentally healthy, and comply with HSE (health, safety, and environmental protection) regulations. Have a certain sensitivity and learning ability for the research and application of non-destructive testing techniques for new materials and new processes.
