Job responsibilities:

1. Professional technical services: Be responsible for formulating and optimizing the measurement and detection technical scheme, and solving complex and high-precision measurement and detection problems. Conduct research and introduction of new technologies and new methods, and promote the development and innovation of measurement and detection technology. Conduct precise detection and calibration of difficult samples or high-precision and advanced instrument and equipment to ensure the authority and effectiveness of the test results.

2. Technical guidance and review: Provide technical guidance for routine measurement and detection work, review testing plans, testing methods, and testing results to ensure that they meet the requirements of national measurement regulations, standards, and technical specifications. Participate in the review and issuance of important test reports to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data and the fairness and objectivity of the conclusions.

3. Quality management and standardization: Organize the preparation, revision, and improvement of measurement and detection procedures, operation guidebooks, and other technical documents, and participate in the research and development and verification of measurement standard substances. Implement the quality management system, and plan and supervise the quality control of the testing process, including internal audits, capability verification, periodical verification, etc.

4. Team training and capacity building: Provide professional technical training and skill enhancement for measurement and detection personnel to improve the technical level and service ability of the entire team. Guide and support measurement and detection personnel to solve technical problems encountered in practical work.

5. Project management and cooperation and exchange: Participate in national, provincial, or industry-level measurement scientific research projects to promote technological research and development and application. Represent the company to participate in technical exchanges and seminars in related fields at home and abroad, and track the new trends and updated technical standards in the international and domestic measurement and detection fields. Assist in handling the technical connection with customers, solve the measurement and detection technical questions raised by customers, and provide measurement technical service consultation.

6. Facilities and equipment management: Be responsible for the procurement, acceptance, installation and commissioning, and performance confirmation of key testing equipment to ensure that the hardware facilities of the laboratory meet the testing needs. Conduct regular maintenance, repair, and technical transformation of high-end and precision instrument and equipment in the laboratory.

Job requirements:

1. Educational background: Master's degree or above, majoring in measurement and testing technology, analytical chemistry, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, petroleum engineering, and other related majors.

2. Work experience: More than 8 years of work experience in oil and gas fields, including more than 5 years of direct work in the field of measurement and detection of oilfield equipment, with 2 years of experience in global project management or technical service, and those who have served as measurement and detection leaders or core technical personnel in international large-scale oil and gas field projects are preferred.

3. Professional skills: Possess a deep theoretical foundation of measurement and detection, be familiar with national measurement laws and regulations, standard systems, and relevant requirements of international measurement organizations. Have rich practical experience in multiple measurement fields, such as length, mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, chemistry, optics, acoustics, radio, flow, quality, time frequency, etc. Be familiar with the operation, calibration, and debugging methods of various precision instruments and equipment, and be able to solve complex technical problems. Be proficient in the structure principles, measurement characteristics, calibration methods of commonly used instruments and meters in oil and gas fields, flow meters, crude oil storage tanks, safety valves, gas cylinders, and other equipment.

4. Qualification certificates: Be familiar with management systems such as ISO 17025/17020, API, CNAS, CMA, JJF1069, and those with professional qualification certifications such as registered metrologist, PMP, safety valve, cylinder inspector, measurement inspector certificate, or measurement training qualification certificate are preferred.

5. Ability and quality: Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent teamwork spirit and independent working ability. High sense of responsibility and rigorous scientific attitude to ensure the authenticity and accuracy of the data. Strong learning desire, innovation awareness, international awareness, and keep track of the latest industry trends and technological development trends. Good communication skills, and the ability to effectively conduct technical exchanges and coordination with customers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders. Language ability requirements: Either English, Russian, or Arabic, with smooth communication and good listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
