Job responsibilities:

1.Strategic Planning and Implementation: Responsible for formulating long-term and short-term production and operational plans for the subsidiary according to the corporate strategic objectives, including capacity enhancement, cost control, and efficiency improvements, and ensuring effective implementation of these plans.

2.Operational Management and Optimization: Fully responsible for the daily production and operations of the subsidiary, ensuring efficient, safe, and environmentally friendly production activities. Continuously optimize production processes and improve resource utilization.

3.Safety Management: As the primary person responsible for safety, ensure compliance with all applicable HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) regulations and standards, develop and implement rigorous safety management measures, and prevent and respond to emergencies.

4.Team Building and Management: Lead and develop an efficient production and operations team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and incentive mechanism establishment. Promote cross-departmental collaboration to ensure team stability and high morale.

5.Cost Control and Budget Management: Develop annual production budgets, monitor production costs, reduce waste through meticulous management, and enhance economic efficiency. Regularly analyze cost-effectiveness, audit financial reports, and ensure rational allocation of resources.

6.Supply Chain and Logistics Management: Optimize supply chain management to ensure effective supply and logistics of raw materials, equipment, and products. Establish and maintain good cooperative relationships with suppliers, manage inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve response times.

7.Market and Customer Relations: Understand and analyze local and international market dynamics, maintain relationships with key customers, participate in important contract negotiations, and ensure product sales and customer service meet market demands.

8.Risk Management and Compliance: Identify, assess, and manage risks in business operations, including political, security, and compliance risks, ensuring business activities comply with Iraq and international laws, industry standards, and company policies.

9.Technological Innovation and Application: Encourage and adopt new technologies and processes to enhance production efficiency and product quality. Participate in or lead technical transformation projects to promote technological advancement and industrial upgrading of the subsidiary.

10.Cross-cultural Communication and Coordination: Effectively communicate in a multicultural environment, maintain close contact with headquarters and other international branches, coordinate international resources, and manage relationships with local governments and communities.

Job requirements:

1.Educational Background:Bachelor's degree or above in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related disciplines.

2.Industry Experience:At least 10 years of experience in the oil and gas or related energy industries, including senior management positions in multinational corporations or complex environments, with specific experience in the Middle East, particularly Iraq.

3.Professional Knowledge:In-depth understanding of business processes in oil and gas field development, production, processing, logistics, sales, as well as HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) standards and international operational modes of the petroleum industry.

4.Strategic Planning and Execution:Outstanding strategic thinking ability to develop and execute production and operational strategies for the Iraq subsidiary in alignment with the company's overall strategy, encompassing short-term and long-term planning.

5.Cross-Cultural Management:Exceptional cross-cultural communication and management skills, given Iraq's diverse cultural and social backgrounds, capable of effectively leading diverse teams and establishing good relationships with local government, partners, and communities.

6.Risk Management and Compliance:Familiarity with and effective management of various risks associated with operating in Iraq, including political, security, and compliance risks, ensuring business activities comply with local laws, international standards, and company policies.

7.Financial Management and Cost Control:Proficient in financial management, capable of conducting cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, cost control, and improving production efficiency and economic benefits.

8.Crisis Management:Rapid response in emergency situations, developing and implementing crisis management plans to ensure personnel safety and business continuity.

9.Language Proficiency:Proficient in English and Arabic for communication and interaction.

10.Leadership and Team Building:Strong leadership skills to motivate teams, develop talent, foster an efficient collaborative atmosphere, and drive organizational change and innovation.
