Job responsibilities:

1.System Establishment and Maintenance: Responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continuously improving the QHSE management system to ensure compliance with international standards (such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001) and local Iraqi laws and regulations.

2.Policy and Objective Setting: Assist senior management in setting QHSE policies, objectives, and indicators, ensuring these policies are communicated, understood, and implemented across the company.

3.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and control QHSE risks in the company's business, including but not limited to risk assessments at work sites, development and drills of emergency plans, as well as accident investigation and root cause analysis.

4.Training and Awareness Raising: Organize QHSE training to enhance all employees' QHSE awareness and capabilities, ensuring employees understand and comply with relevant QHSE regulations and operating procedures.

5.Auditing and Evaluation: Regularly organize internal QHSE audits, monitor the effectiveness of the system operation, and prepare for and cooperate with external audits, such as customer audits and certification body audits.

6.Compliance Management: Monitor and ensure the company's operational activities are compliant, including permit applications, environmental impact assessments, health and safety permits, and maintain good communication with government regulatory agencies.

7.Incident and Event Management: Responsible for reporting, recording, investigating, and following up on the implementation of corrective and preventive measures for accidents and near-miss incidents, ensuring lessons are learned and measures are taken to prevent recurrence.

8.Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement projects for the QHSE management system, utilizing data analysis, best practice sharing, and other means to continuously enhance QHSE performance.

9.Cross-departmental Collaboration: Closely cooperate with various business departments, providing QHSE technical support and advice to ensure QHSE management is integrated into daily business activities.

10.Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Develop and update emergency response plans to ensure rapid and effective response in emergencies, protect personnel safety, and minimize environmental impact.

Job requirements:

1.Educational Background:Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Environmental Science, Safety Management, or related disciplines.

2.Language Proficiency:Proficient in English and Arabic for communication and interaction.

3.Professional Qualifications:Hold certifications as an auditor or senior auditor for ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System), or equivalent national standards.

4.Work Experience:At least 5 years of experience in QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) management system administration in the oil, gas, or related industries, with preference for those with experience in the Middle East, particularly in Iraq.

5.System Establishment and Maintenance:Possess the ability to establish, maintain, and continuously improve QHSE management systems, including system planning, document writing, internal auditing, management review, and external certification.

6.Risk Management and Emergency Response:Proficient in risk assessment tools (e.g., JHA, JSA) and the development and implementation of emergency response plans, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks in the operational environment.

7.Legal and Regulatory Compliance:Familiar with international and local (Iraqi) QHSE-related laws and regulations to ensure the compliance of the company's operational activities.

8.Leadership and Communication:Possess excellent leadership skills and cross-cultural communication abilities, capable of leading multi-disciplinary teams and effectively communicating with employees at different levels, external organizations, and government officials.

9.Training and Culture Building:Responsible for developing and implementing QHSE training programs, promoting the establishment of a QHSE culture within the organization, and enhancing employees' safety awareness and environmental responsibility.
